The pieces have a history with some originating in such diverse places as Alabama, Georgia and up-state New York. Prominently displayed is a letter dated 1841 proposing marriage by one of Jane`s ancestors to his bride the picture is bracheted with the picture of the suitor and his intended. The house was completely refurbished in 1986 as a bed & breakfast and is presently owned by Jane & George Fields.
